Updated Refunds and Returns Policy

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

 


 

Damaged Shipments and Required Documentation

If your order arrived damaged, you must take the following steps to be eligible for a refund or exchange:

  1. Document the Damage: Customers must properly document the damage by immediately taking clear pictures of:

    • The damaged product(s).

    • The damaged outer packaging/box.

    • The inner packaging materials.

  2. Return Requirement: If the shipment is damaged, please return the damaged item only. If the entire order is damaged or unusable, then return the entire order.

  3. Carrier Inspection: If a carrier inspection at the point of delivery is required for our insurance claim, we will notify you and provide instructions. Please retain all damaged items and packaging until this inspection is complete.

 


 

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Refund Initiation: The refund is initiated once the item to be refunded is physically received and inspected.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded for discretionary reasons (e.g., change of mind, wrong size). Sale items are considered Final Sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged, EXCEPT in cases where the item is received damaged, defective, or not as described. If a sale item is damaged, defective, or not as described upon arrival, you have the same rights to a refund or exchange as a regular priced item.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@finestbeans.coffee and send your item to: 109-8645 160 Street, Surrey, BC, V4N-1G4.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping and Return Costs

  • Shipping Damage Returns: If the order came damaged or became unusable due to our error or shipping damage, a pre-paid return label will be provided to you.

  • All Other Returns: If the refund is initiated for any other reason (e.g., you changed your mind, ordered the wrong item), the customer is responsible for shipping the order back. We can provide a discounted shipping label, the cost of which will be deducted from your total refund value.

  • Non-Refundable Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Partial Refunds

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error (other than shipping damage noted above).

  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Note: If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
